Responsible Development
How we operate — and why it matters
Kemcore is committed to responsible manufacturing, local value creation, and reducing the environmental footprint
of Africa’s chemical supply chain
Responsible operations are central to Kemcore’s long-term strategy. We hold ourselves accountable across environmental, social, and governance dimensions — guided by our mission, our values, and our commitment to contributing to global Net Zero objectives by 2050.
Environment
Environmental stewardship is embedded across Kemcore’s full product lifecycle — from raw material sourcing through to delivery and end use. By producing chemicals locally rather than importing them across continents, we directly reduce the carbon footprint of mineral processing operations in the SADC region.
Social responsibility
Kemcore invests in local employment, skills development, and community engagement across every market in which we operate. We believe that lasting industrial development requires genuine commitment to the people and communities it affects.
Governance
Kemcore maintains a transparent governance structure built on integrity, accountability, and zero tolerance for corruption or discrimination. Our governance framework is designed to meet the expectations of institutional partners, development financiers, and the communities we serve.

Kemcore and the UN Sustainable Development Goals
In 2015, the United Nations established 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Kemcore actively integrates the most relevant of these goals into its development strategy — prioritising those directly connected to responsible manufacturing, clean energy, community welfare, and climate action.
